Current Projects

Elephant

So, I’ve been working on this for a while now.  It started as a concept for a monthly 3D art contest, and turned into an exercise in creature form and anatomy.  It’s not complete yet, but once I’m done with the ears, it should be good to go:

Again, I’m always willing to hear comments and especially criticism, and you can submit them here or at my current zbrushcentral post here.  I’ll update this as soon as I can.

Head

As soon as I’m done I want to have a skull, muscle tone, and the overall facial structure in at least 3 separate tools.  I’m hoping I can use these for a project to translate portraits of friends and family members into 3D portraits.

Hi Mike, your friend Andrea DeAngelo pointed me in your direction. i was showing off some of my own 3d artwork, and she thought we might have common interests.

anyway, i like the projects you have posted, they look pretty good, especially the deer door knocker. i have yet to try 3ds Max, i’m still trying to tackle the learning curve of Cinema 4D.

Feel free to stop by if you’re curious about looking at some of my own stuff: https://plus.google.com/u/0/communities/111897548306140388055

    • Hey Bryan,

I’m sorry I haven’t been able to get back to you. It’s been ages since I’ve checked this page to tell the truth. I’m feeling like getting back into it soon, but it may be a bit slow. I love the items you have on here already. The hammer is the most impressive, imo. Keep it up! I have several friends that work on projects now and again. Everyone gets into slumps and I think it’s important to push though those and keep posting content:

Hope these give you others to reach out to and also help inspire your creative side. =)

Also, if you like beer, here’s a great blog: eurekabrewing.wordpress.com

      Enjoy!
